The customer wanted a custom website designed and developed for his local Soil Testing and Geological Drilling business.
Our website design brief was easy! After providing us with some details and information about this type of business (We knew nothing about Soil Testing or Geotechnical Drilling) The client gave us complete creative license to come up with a concept on our own.
We love it when this happens and we were excited to begin on this project.
Website Design and Development Research
The first thing we did was research the industry and competitors. Doing this means we can deliver a better end result for our client which is beneficial for everyone.
Being a local service provider meant that our SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) had to reflect the location that services were available. This is really important as we don’t want waste any “Google Juice” on places that our client cannot service due to geographical location.
We wanted our web design to be visually pleasing, easy to use and reflect the industry whilst also aligning with the target audience which was quite diverse. Both domestic and industrial customers are potential clients for this service.
Once we had a design we showed it to our client and he loved it! We the proceeded to complete the website build and also explore other opportunities to increase leads for our customer.
Increase website leads
To increase the website leads we made sure that all of the information was easy to find and understand with prominent CTA’s (Calls to action) at each section.
Further web development
After speaking with our client we discovered that a lot of his valuable time was being spent qualifying leads. To overcome this we developed a real time online instant quoting system which pre qualified most leads and only then sent a quote request to our client.
